This tour is mainly by car and it explores the Southeast part of the island.
The initial destination is a visit to a typical Quinta of Madeira, a sort of a small park with a manor house, where one may not only observe exotic and endemic flora and avifauna, though also a vast landscape that can extend until Porto Santo Island, if weather allows.
Then it follows a visit to a water stream mouth on the second most populated city of Madeira, to observe some birds, as little egrets, turnstones or the waxbills that live on the wild on the widest valley of the island.
Last stop seems outside Madeira when exiting a tunnel one notice a completely different landscape, much more barren and brownish than the rest of the island. Here beyond admiring North and South of the Island on a same point you may also amuse yourself with the Berthelot's Pipit posing for your photos with cardoons on the background.
