In 2007 we wrote about Metrics of Special Events, now is time to revisit this topic.

Passed 5 years, we no longer sell Atlantic Festival Fireworks as it became more interesting to admire the fireworks display from the shoreline.

Madeira New Year Fireworks keeps getting full in advance. Stop sales are now issued in beginning of December (e.g. 2011, 2010) as opposite to beginning of November (e.g. 2007,2008). A clear change of pattern.

The Madeira New Year is truly the calling card event for Madeira, surpasses Flower Festival and Wine Festival…
